It’s been a while since I last posted on here!.
Since Rex’s death last year, it has been a difficult period for the shop and all the people affected by the transition. However, it is good to report that we are now on a stable footing and look forward to being here for the foreseeable future.
Both the Dolphin Hotel and the Pike and Eel in Needingworth have now been sold by the Wadsworth family, leaving us to concentrate on the two pubs and the shop. The next big step is to get the online shop up and running. This is a huge task given the range of stock we carry, but hopefully we can start making progress in this area soon.
We have also taken the decision to stop selling cigarettes and rolling tobacco as from May 1st, but will continue to sell our range of Cuban and Honduran cigars which prove a big hit during the wedding season in particular.
In the meantime, please pop into the shop to see what we have on offer. We currently have sparkling wines on offer at £4.99, a couple of cheapies on a two for £9 deal as well as some spirit deals such as Apple Sourz at £7.99 and Chase blackcurrant vodka at £13.95.
