With the arrival of our new colleague Mark, we are now able to extend our opening hours on a Thursday until 5.30pm.
Historically, we have closed at 1pm to coincide with the rest of the town when the cattle market was on – a long time ago!
This has always been a bit of an anomaly, as we were probably the only business in St. Ives to carry on the tradition. Hopefully by doing this, we shall no longer have to disappoint customers who visit on a Thursday and wonder why we are closed in the afternoon.
Having said that, we will monitor the situation over the next six months to see if it is a commercially viable step.
